How will I know if I suffered a blood clot while taking Yaz? | Ohio Yaz injury lawyers
If you are taking Yaz birth control and have suffered any of the following symptoms, there is a possibilty that you may have a blood clot. Contact your health care professional immediately.Symptoms of birth control blood clots include:
Chest pain - under the breastbone or on one side, especially sharp or stabbing. There also may be a burning, aching, dull, or heavy sensation that may get worse with deep breathing, coughing, eating, bending, or stooping.
Cough - begins suddenly, and may occur with blood or blood-streaking sputum.
Rapid breathing
Rapid heart rate
Shortness of breath - may occur at rest of during activity, and could start suddenly.
Other symptoms that may occur:
Anxiety
Bluish skin discoloration
Clammy skin
Dizziness
Leg pain in one or both legs
Lightheadedness or fainting
Low blood pressure
Lump associated with a vein near the surface of the body, may be painful
Nasal flaring
Pelvis pain
Sweating
Swelling in the legs
Weak or absent pulse
Wheezing
