Ohio woman suffers pulmonary embolism while taking Yaz birth control

Recently a young Ohio woman began taking Yasmin in August of 2006, in 2008 she began taking the generic brand of Yasmin called Ocella. On October 16^th, 2008 she was admitted to Blanchard Valley Hospital and was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism in each her lungs (she had blood clots in both of her lungs).

As a result she now has to take medication to thin out her blood and has to have monthly Coumadin treatments at a hospital.
