One of the questions that I often hear as a personal injury attorney is, "What is the criteria for hiring a good attorney?"

I guess I would point out three specific criteria.

First, what is the experience of the attorney you are going to hire? Does that attorney try personal injury cases? How many specific cases has that attorney tried?

If you were going to get back surgery from a back surgeon, you certainly wouldn't want to be the first person that was operated on. You would want a surgeon that this was his 1,000^th or 2,000^th surgery and you would like to talk to some other individuals that have had surgery from that person to try and get some good results.

You would want to get some testimonials or talk to some people who have seen that surgeon. One of the things you need to look at when hiring an attorney is experience.
